DJI affirmed its commitment to data protection and privacy as part of a presentation at The Commercial UAV Show in London. As part of her morning keynote, Dr Barbara Stelzner, director for marketing and corporate communication and management committee member at DJI, talked about the company’s commitment to security and privacy. The announcement follows the news that the US Interior Department has grounded its fleet of drones, many of which are supplied by DJI, over national security fears. Dr Stelzner said: “DJI drones do not share flight routes, do not share pictures, do not share any data unless the pilot actively chooses to do so.
