Flying high was a great movie in its day. This drone footage reminded me of that movie title while watching. The Delta County Emergency Management responded to a fire earlier this week. Delta County Sheriff Mark Taylor sent deputies to block traffic and says the cause of the fire at a hemp-drying plant is not currently known. The blaze, he said, looked pretty bad and was putting off black smoke. Access to the area remained restricted Wednesday morning, according to Taylor. Taylor said Wednesday that the fire may be burning well into the coming week. Multiple agencies responded to provide mutual aid.
