In the 1984 film, catching Gremlins is never easy. They had to trick them into thinking it was night time, when it was really daytime. DARPA however conducted their Gremlins tests in broad daylight. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency says a specially equipped C-130 Hercules cargo plane successfully recovered an X-61A Gremlins drone in mid-air last month.
