The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Cities and Regional Development believe they govern drone noise. The regulations under their control appear to have been written for general aviation, which is evidenced by the requirement that a "Noise certificate to be carried on board aircraft" requirement is in the regulations. However, they have a request for comment open. AAUS is asking for your input, as part of an industry response to the department. The AAUS Noise Regulation Working Group has released a draft position paper for members to review and provide feedback.
