In a project designed to help understand current climate issues used the BOREAL fixed-wing UAV equipped with specialized sensors to gather data from areas around Barbados. The project brought more than 100 scientists from Europe and the United States to work on understanding climate issues. Our interest is in the equipment used, but for the record - the project is called EUREC4A - also known as Elucidating the role of clouds-circulation coupling in climate.

Trump Plaza falls down, goes boom: Drone footage of demolition

https://www.dronebook.org/m/sites/view/Trump-Plaza-falls-down-goes-boom-Drone-footage-of-demolition

https://www.dronebook.org/m/sites/view/Trump-Plaza-falls-down-goes-boom-Drone-footage-of-demolition

All good things must come to an end. And even, apparently, some not-so-good things. The failed Trump Plaza in Atlantic City is no more. The building has sat empty for some six and a half years, and was originally scheduled to be demolished in 2018. Yesterday, the building that once housed 614 rooms, seven restaurants, and a 60,000 square foot casino.

Prescribed burn near Manjimup

https://www.dronebook.org/m/sites/view/Prescribed-burn-near-Manjimup

https://www.dronebook.org/m/sites/view/Prescribed-burn-near-Manjimup

Drone footage of clouds of smoke from a prescribed burn in state forest near the forestry town of Manjimup, WA. Also unmanned droneds rely on GPS network for navigation. But GPS network may experience some down …
