Carnegie Mellon, University of Sao Paulo, and Facebook researchers developed a framework that enables users to define drone camera shots working from labels like “exciting,” “enjoyable,” and “establishing.” Using a software simulator, they generated a database of video clips with a diverse set of shot types and then leveraged crowdsourcing and AI to learn the relationship between the labels and certain semantic descriptors. In the future, the researchers hope to explore a larger set of parameters to control each shot, including lens zoom and potentially even soundtracks. They would also like to extend the framework to take into account features like terrain and scenery.

Monster Crocodile Intimidates Shark in Drone Video

https://www.dronebook.org/m/sites/view/Monster-Crocodile-Intimidates-Shark-in-Drone-Video

https://www.dronebook.org/m/sites/view/Monster-Crocodile-Intimidates-Shark-in-Drone-Video

Drone footage has captured the moment a 16-foot crocodile intimidated a bull shark in waters off Australia's far north coast. The enormous reptile was seen lurking in a shallow river in Western Australia's remote Kimberley Region. In the footage, a bull shark is seen swimming toward the waiting crocodile before coming to an abrupt stop and immediately retreating in the direction it came. The two predators faced off just meters away from people fishing and children swimming.

Watch: Terrifying Drone Footage Shows Man Swimming Above Hammerhead Shark in Miami

https://www.dronebook.org/m/sites/view/Watch-Terrifying-Drone-Footage-Shows-Man-Swimming-Above-Hammerhea

https://www.dronebook.org/m/sites/view/Watch-Terrifying-Drone-Footage-Shows-Man-Swimming-Above-Hammerhea

A drone footage revealed how the man was swimming above a fully grown hammerhead shark.

Sphero spinout Company Six launches throwable, video-streaming wheeled drone for first ...

https://www.dronebook.org/m/sites/view/Sphero-spinout-Company-Six-launches-throwable-videostreaming-whee

https://www.dronebook.org/m/sites/view/Sphero-spinout-Company-Six-launches-throwable-videostreaming-whee

According to CO6, ReadySight streams video over both dedicated first responder and commercial LTE networks.
